I just got a new to me truck 99 dodge dakota and the stereo needs some help. Right now there is a good alpine reciever. There are four 6.5" speakers and two tweeters in the facotry system. Right now there is also a single channel amp for a sub that was removed. I was planning on selling this and getting a four channel amp to power four new 6.5" speakers. Would this be a good idea? Should I even put new tweeters in? What amp would be good? Should I just use a woofer and a tweeter in the front not standard speakers. I would like to spend 250 dollars total on speakers. Some recommendations on would be greatly appreciated, becuase I am lost on this one.
