Im working out the kinks on my SD L98 swap i have the motor ready to go, now i just need to figure out the wiring..... i have a SD harness cleaned up and loomed my ONLY holdup on this entire thing is the c207 connector!!!
Currently i have an 89 TBI camaro and the 92 SD is going into it, i have figured out the VSS issue, just gonna run the feed from the tranny directly into the ecm since the t5 puts out 4000ppm which is what the 730 ecm requires so thats taken care of (someone correct me if thats wrong )
As far as the c207 goes i have pulled up both the 89 and the 90-92 on austinthirdgen.org....putting these two next to eachother nothing matches up i dont even know where to start!
here is the 92, this is what i need to end up with :

and here is the 89, my start point:

if someone can clear this up i would be eternally grateful, this swap is 2 years in the making ( long time i know but ive been having to juggle a family with my budget) to my knowledge everything is taken care of except for this one snag, being that this car is my DD i need to be able to take it down for 3 days tops and get it back on the road.
I had luke, chris and nick all offer to help, so hopefully they can work on situating the engine bay while i repin the dang connector _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory

Although a V6, that's the way my 92 has VSS wired. Goes from tail shaft to ECM where the VSS buffer is, then to the speedometer.
I could't see those links at work, I'll check again tonight or tomorrow. If I'm available and it's a decent time of day, I could be available for some hands on help. _________________ 92 Camaro

| Those links don't work, but I found the references anyway. I'm more hands on with this sort of thing and would need the connectors with drawings in front of me to be sure of what I'm doing. I did notice a couple of signals that didn't transfer over to the 92 connector though. |
