I have a 3rd gen style Modine 3-core radiator and the original V6 fan. What's the easiest way to get duel fans on my car? I'll be controlling them with the LS1 engine PCM. I don't think the LSx needs a huge cooling capacity, but with a 427 I don't want to rely on one fan.
Keep in mind, all I have right now is V6 shroud, radiator top cover, and such. Any suggestion should factor in needs for mounting. |

Buy Paul's setup.
Does the LS1 ECM control one fan or two? If it only controls one you can get a thermal switch for the other one. |

The LSx fan wiring setup I use is 'vette based. I used the factory dual fans and have them wired through 3 relays. There are diagrams on LS1tech that I'll look for when I'm less intoxicated. It splits the power between two relays that runs both fans in "low" speed and when the "high" speed is triggered it runs both fans through one relay. Simple to wire if you have a couple relays.

I added an aftermarket relay to one. Left the other on the stock setup. Ran a trigger wire to each one.
Easier then baking a pie
