It has the Berli trim because it is a Berli. Take a close look at the interior and you can see the pod radio on the console. _________________ 92 Camaro

No doubt its a clean looking car. Wonder if they modded the suspension to handle the engine. _________________

Nice car, not a terrible starting price. Too bad he stayed with the SBC and the factory GM crap.
My guess would be old guy with bucks and an attachment to the car. |

I agree the LSX is the new small block, but it doesn't automatically make everything else a POS. I'll run my old POS small block against your banana hammock anyday. |

Okay.
*Edit: I suppose I should expound on this a little, Rodney. I don't mean to dump on SBC's in general. I have had several and they have been better to me than a lot of sh*t I have owned. I beat on the L98 in my IROC unmerciful like and it took it like a champ while every other component on the car failed.
The point I was trying to make is that if you have FIVE GRAND to spend on an engine(as this old fart obviously did) there is not a single compelling reason to purchase something that was built in the 1950's and then try to pretend that you didn't just become the proud owner of a second a**h*le. |

20,000 miles on engine, he probably put this thing together 3 or 4 years ago. LSx was still kind of exotic then. I know several guys that have spent several grand on thier SBC's. If faced with replacing the engine today I think all of them would go with the LSx platform now, I know I would. There is a good reason we run engines designed in the 50's, casue they did a pretty damn good job. With modern technology in heads and camshafts they are still pretty good today. |
