| I want to cut out the center section of the k member creating a removable section to allow for easy access to the oil pan. Does the center section take any load when the car is not moving? I was going to get some tubing with a couple of flanges. Anyone done anything like this and would it be possible? |

| I would look at what the aftermarket does. They all seem to use a single tube. Guess there is no reason why you couldn't as long as you use a strong enough connection. |
