Remember that LSx turbo drivetrain I bought a few months ago? First I bought it just for the tranny, then I thought about the engine, then I went back to the old plan, then I had no plan, then the old plan....
Anyway, I did follow through on the idea to sell most of it and keep the tranny. Well, the good news is tonight I met my milestone and I've cleared my investment and in the green! And I still have quite a bit left to sell!
I'm a happy camper tonight! I'm keeping the Viper T56, twin disc clutch, aluminum flywheel, driveline, HP Tuner, and wideband O2 gauge and didn't spend one cent to own it! |

LOL! You are a smart man. She can't complain about the turbo system any longer. There's still enough to complain about concerning the Camaro, though.
The Camaro has been a hard one. People aren't even contacting me and that's kind of a key ingredient to the selling process. I had one test driver and he walked away because of the poor idle. I learned my lesson and paid for a Texas Speed tune and it fixed the problem. It must be a slow market right now.... I'm not even getting the low ballers! |

Six!
It loses points for being a heavy, ugly fourthgen.
I have noticed something shocking while perusing local want ads for Camaros: not only are thirdgens no longer the pariah they once were, they have gone up in price. Likewise, there are more fourthegns for sale now, and their price is headed in the other direction. |

Take it to a mobile home open house and park it in the gravel driveway, it's sure to sell
Man it's great to finally see 3rd gen prices going up and 4th gens dropping like the stock market. Wonder how long it will take for the mullet stereotype to be applied only to 4th gen owners? |

It's great for the guy who owns two thirdgens. Not for me looking to buy another one, or Jon looking to sell his fourthgen. |

Well, yea, I guess if you look at it from that perspective
I passed through Granit Falls a couple of weeks ago, there was a 89ish burgundy GTA sitting in a vacant lot in down town with a 4 sale sign on it. It looked clean at 25mph. Being that it was in granite falls I would bet that you could pick it up fairly cheap? The grass was tall around and it didnt look like it had moved in awhile. That is if you would settle for a Pontiac
As far as what Jon is trying to sell, he will get the price he is looking for it will just take time. The market is soft for anything modded nowadays, thats why he was able to pick it up for the price he did. Someone will step up, just takes time. |

Yep, that's right.
It would have been sold already if it wasn't for the old tune. I'm the idiot for not fixing it earlier. Texas Speed did a great job. |

It's more like I rented it for the summer. I didn't break even.
But that was one heck of a rental car! |
