Intresting placement for the coil-packs on that LS 3rd gen. But it keeps em away from heat better than the stock placement.

He needs an A/C delete box. And I think the coilpacks look silly up there, but that's just me. I actually like them on the valvecovers. It's not like they die often because of the heat like a 4.6 Ford's coilpacks. Razz

Seems an odd choice. He's got several grand worth of engine sitting there, but hacked the aircon lines off with a saw. Shrug

Oh well, at least his sh*t runs... Laughing

That car was mostly built by Ellis at Speed Secrets. I stopped by his shop one day to pick up a 4thgen gas tank and he was doing the finishing touches on the coil mount. Not what I would have done either but interesting nonetheless. The owner is a real cool guy, very chill.

+1 for valve cover mounted.
+1 for unique placement on the firewall

Oh man.... what if there was a way you could have your coilpacks nicely mounted on a heatsink, but also on the valve cover!!!!

Shocked

Get down and Boogie!

And before someone mentions it, yes, I do need to rub the junkyard marker off of that wiper motor. Embarassed

Hey now, weren't you giving me shizzle about the junkyard pen on my wiper motor not too long ago?
