Jacking it up puts the wheels in a different place.

I wonder if it's rubbing on the inner fender insert?

I'm with stupid

Even if you jack under the a-arm you have still changed the mechanical advantage on the spring. You are also not accounting for body roll when you do that. When you take a right turn the driver's front is running lower than the other three corners.

Is it metal on metal, rubber on metal or rubber on plastic? Is it intermittent (once per revolution) or constant?

What wheel and tire combo are you running? What suspension? Do you have a steering box with the proper stops for wider tires or are you still running the factory RS box?

Take the wheel off and look for scuff marks on the wheel, tire and car. Also you might take a glance at the brakes for any abnormal wear.

i just put on all new pads and rotors front and rear last month, there is rubbing marks but thats from turning at full stop full turn, when i take a right turn and it makes the noise im only turning like halfway. i have 17x8 iroc wheels on 245-45-17 nitto NT555's. stock RS steering box. it just starting making this noise pretty recently too. and its a constant rubbing sound now that i thing about it it might be a really bad vibration compared to a rubbing sound. it lasts like 2 seconds...well then the turn is over and it doesnt do it every time

Wheel bearing was too tight or too loose when you put the rotor on.

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.

raise car

tight spindle nut to 12lbft while spinning the tire forward
back off the nut to just loose
now hand tighten the spendile nut
now if cottor pin holes do not line up-loosen nut untill it does.
there should be .001-.005" end play when properly adjusted

from factory service manual.

The "backyard mechanic" way is to crank the nut down to 12lb-ft while spinning the hub to seat the bearing, then loosen it until there is noticeable end play, then spin the hub and slowly tighten the nut until you begin to feel a slight bit of drag on the hub. At that point, loosen until a cotter pin hole lines up and you are done.

Very similar to the factory method, if you do it right you will be in spec. It's worth inspecting, repacking and setting up your current bearings again before you go spending more money.

just had a shop inspect my car today, they said front and rear wheel bearings are bad/not adjusted right and apparantly your supposed to crush the tabs on the front brake pads to hold them in correctly??
