Well, except for delivery, I have traded my Blazer for a 1980 Camaro. It is black on black with a Z hood and Spoiler. I'm told it has a Vortec 350 with a Holley carb and a TH350 transmission. I'll have to check the numbers for verification. It comes with spare parts which is cool. It was originally an LG4 car. I'll post some pics once I have it...hopefully this weekend. Oh, and it does run. If all goes well, I will bring it to dyno. _________________

My 85 is still my #1. If another little venture I'm working on pans out this weekend, it will get me 50% closer to my purchase of a new long lock for it. _________________

Things are looking good and I should have it within the next 24 hours. I'll start snapping pics when it arrives. I'm stoked! _________________

On a side note, my other venture did not pan out, but oh well. It will just take more time for the long block. Or, I could always swap out the two engines I have and take the 80 back to a stock configuration. Any thoughts on this? _________________

Well, let's start off that it's not a 350; it's a 305 It did have an electric fuel pump jury rigged to catch on fire, but Aaron came over and helped save the day! I had a spare mechanical fuel pump and with a couple of trips to Baxters and one to Autozone, the car is at less risk of going up in flames. It's going to take some cleaning, but it will be something to play with until I want something else or sell it and invest more in the 85. Here are 3 pics to show what I got myself into in. _________________

Nice!!
Hard to see in the photos, but is that a Berlinetta script on the C-pillar? If it is, it should also be on the driver side nose and passenger side deck lid/spoiler. None-the-less a good looking 2nd gen. _________________ 92 Camaro

Haha... I don't know about fire but somewhere between the wire nuts stringing speaker wire off the tachometer to power the fuel pump or the six+ feet of cracked dry-rotted rubber hose looping all over, it probably would have ended poorly.
Al, the script on the c-pillar is the "Type LT" logo which shouldn't have been on there in '80 but I assume it was glued on after one of the paint jobs. |

Yeah, it was hard to tell in the photo. The curl at the beginning of the script looked correct, but looked a little off at the end. |

It's a twenty footer when it's not raining and about a 10 footer when it is. _________________
