no 3rd brake light

Ok so when i did the 9bolt swap i put in the new prop valve and i had to unplug the tan wire now i have no third brake light....

That's a neat trick considering that all the wire does is turn the brake warning light on in case of low pressure.

Well i replaced the bulb. So ill make sure Im getting 12v at the bulb then check fuses and brake switch..

A quick look at the wiring diagrams shows that the CHMSL shares it's fuse with the lower brake lights, but has it's own wire coming off the brake pedal switch, and it's own throw in the switch itself.

Checking for 12V and continuity to ground at the socket is a good start, then I would check the pedal switch for proper continuity when closed.

The contacts in the 91-92 style center brake light get brittle pretty easily. Even though it's not on a long time, the bulb generates quite a lot of heat, sometimes enough to melt the lens, I've got one sitting around that has a hole melted in it.

Have you checked the fuse it might have stopped working

3156 bulbs only work one direction...i had it backwards...
