$2400 is actually pretty cheap to come up with a rebuilt 305 and installed for you. Figure the rebuilt engine is atleast $850 + gaskets + labor.
Rod's right though, it's not an engine rebuild, yet. Maybe Brandon while chime in, but I think know that rod knock comes and goes that erratically..
I still think it's something ignition related because that's what you change last. |

my friend that i had look at it today said it might be the fuel pump. his friend that was there had a camar o like mine and he said his did the same thing when his fuel pump went out on him. imma get a fuel pressure gauge tomorrow and check it out. |

which wire is the ecm one? i asked before and no one answered yet. it doesnt say in the manual. |
