Trade you my mediocre factory wheel for your mediocre aftermarket wheel. Cool

I'd potentially be interested in that. Is it the IROC wheel you tried to sell me before from that parts column?
As long as it has a good horn button and decent leather. I'll get it recovered later on if I have to.

Yeah, that's part of my motivation for doing it. It's also pretty rare to see a clean 82-84 Z28 that hasn't been GFX updated to fat chick GFX, so I'm just a working on a barrel of odd car things over here. Cool

I've been driving the Camaro as my daily driver for a couple weeks now. Very Happy Everything is great. I'm extremely happy with the swap and with the other work I've done to get this thing into a comfortable driver. Speaking of that...

My old pull-to-set orange text Delco is no longer working. The left channel was basically non-functional unless I applied pressure sideways to the volume knob, and resoldering the pot to the board didn't help. It must have had a bad potentiometer. Anyway, I replaced it with a very similar but later model Delco which sounds much better and is in much better condition. Then I added a modern touch to it with an auxiliary input port. Its connected directly to the amplifier and interrupts the tuner's signal when you plug a source in, it sounds great and works perfectly. I also went to Goodwill (crappy selection but $0.10 per tape!) and started my tape collection. Laughing

You know if I had a car from the 60's I'd be all over that.

Hey, I was born in '89 and I still remember many years of my parents having tapes in the car. CDs weren't the default option until, like, the mid-to-late '90s.

I also filled the tape player in my dad's old aero Thunderbird up with spare change when I was about 3-4 years old. Laughing

My dad's biggest complaint about the 8 track in his girlfriends 76 TransAm was that you couldn't pull the tape out with the shifter in park! Lol that and he had to buy led Zeppelin 4 like 5 times because it keep eating the tapes. Haha

I remember when you bought that 5 disc changer for your Technics head unit at Good Guys. I had several CDs before I had a player...circa 1990.
