Just dreaming here, but does anyone know of anyone who has put the T6060 from the gen5 camaro into there 3rd?

I almost did. It's not really worth it over a t56 magnum unless you got the trans for CHEAP. It uses a fixed bellhousing which in our cars makes removal a pain in the butt, that's purely personal preference mind you. It has a flanged rear output that uses a rubber mount similar to BMW's guibo design and a remote shifter. You can fix that in one of two ways, a custom expensive driveshaft and custom shifter assembly OR a viper output shaft, modified t56 extension housing and custom driveshaft (really, just a bigger yoke). Making a custom crossmember wouldn't be hard but the mount sticks down a bit further than the t5 and t56. The mount is a larger two point setup. Obviously only an issue if you retained the extension housing. Although it would be cool to plumb in the trans cooler lines and trans temp gauge that come factory in this trans. Of course there is the issue of bolting up to a gen1 motor if you're looking at it for your current setup...
