Alright so my first gear is screaming at me, worse than I've ever heard and my 1st/2nd gear dog teeth on the blockers are pretty much toast, I've rebuilt them before and I know I do.t have the tools or space to do so, does anyone know how? I'd be more willing to lay a crewbie than the cob artists local to me, or if anyone has a wct5 they'd be willing to part with in good shape that would be a good alternative _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory

Hey, sorry I haven't had a chance to get back to you.
Is this what your question was about?
Rebuilding them is cake, the hardest part is getting 5th gear off sometimes. Used to do this for a living. And Used to make V8 T5's with the s-10 setup for hot rods.
Your post is a little sketchy, you do know how or you don't know how? _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I've frankenstiened 6 together from blown ones, local track used to hold a race school thing and apparently t5s were their favorite trans to beat on lol they would just send the blown ones to my college and have them rebuilt, then pay us for labor which fed back into the course funds.
I just don't have the time, tools or space to do it so if someone would have those 3 things and like to make some money id be more than happy to have my t5 rebuilt
I can't remenber what my question was about, I know it wasn't this though lol _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory

Talking what $200 in parts and a decent shop should only charge about $400 labor.
How much cash are you willing to pay? What turn around time do you need? Does the person have to pull the trans also? _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

I'll do the pull and install of the trans, picking up a master kit and turnaround needs to be reasonable but not like 2 days or anything, I'm fixing the white car tomorrow to have something to drive
As far as payment whatever is fair, I'm not made of money but I'm also not gonna loeball on it, people should be properly paid for their services _________________ If you expect a kick to the balls and get a slap to the face its still a victory
