Alright, so going down my list of crap I need to buy for my car, bushings are at the top with SFC's and the wonderbar. however, I need to know what bushings to get. I'm looking at the Energy suspension kit on summit, but it looks like it doesn't come with much for that kind of money. $110 and it comes with:
Front Control arm Bushing
Rear Control arm Bushing
front sway bar end links
panhard bar bushings
tie rod end dust boots.

I don't know a whole lot about what's under the car yet, but this is my chance. Spohn has a kit made my Prothane for $230 which comes with:

Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings
Panhard Bar Bushings
Ball Joint Boots
Torque Arm Bushing
Tie Rod Boots
Front Sway Bar End Links
Front Sway Bar Bushings
Rear Sway Bar End Links
Rear Sway Bar Bushings
Transmission Mount (Doesn't specify auto/man)
Front A-Arm Bushings

I bought that energy kit and was happy with it. The ones in the kit are the expensive ones anyway. For the end links I would buy the links that you can get at the parts store. They use a larger bolt and come with new spacers, washers, nuts, and urethane bushings. You won't feel the difference in the torque arm mount and the panhard goes in by hand. I think the biggest expense will be paying someone to install the new bushings. Unless you have access to a air chisle, press, and all of the little adapters to get them in.

If you are going to be buying new suspension hardparts those kits don't make any sense. When you replace your LCA's, panhard, torque arm, ect. they come with bushings or replace bushings with heim joints.

I will second what Travis mentioned about the sway bar links. Those things often have to be cut off of the car so full replacement is usually the plan.

You don't need a hydraulic press or an air chisel to replace bushings. I did the a-arms in my car with a hacksaw, a power drill, a big vise and a manual press rented from Autozone.

Haha, I've done that before. Drilled out the rubber, assembled the hacksaw with the blade inside the bushing, and cut through it so it would shrink the O.D. and come out easy.
