I've never had a custom plate before but I'm kind of thinking about it for the Firebird. I might just use normal plates to let the car speak for itself, but it's kind of fun to figure out what I would do if I had a custom plate. Here are a few ideas. What do you guys think?

Hmmm, I'm not exactly a wild person but the car is. Seems immature, though.

Maybe this is more my personality. Problem is we have so many people from India here that they might think my name is Iman Erd.

Probably taunting for a ticket and still somewhat immature.

There we go! Won't get any tickets now, right? I actually like this one. Very Happy

I kind of like this one, too Laughing

An obvious choice for me

And the obvious plate. I'm mocking all the people that display their name or say something nobody understands.

It's been a little bit of this along the way.

Norwegian ancestry at work here.

If I were to get custom plates it would be something like "I1II1I1" or O0O00OO". It makes it that much harder for a cop or grumpy grandma to read. Very Happy

There's a couple of those that won't work. I found your application form and they're quite picky on letter & number usage. Vanity is up to 3 numbers only or up to 7 letters only. Personalized is a bit more permissive with up to 6 letters and numbers 1-9 or up to 5 letters and numbers 1-99. If I read it right, any number has to be on one end or the other.

http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/publications/pdf_publications/vsd414.pdf

I saw a Viper coming back from a gathering one year that had a fitting plate "TKT PLS" and another on a Vette "HLO OFCR" or something to that effect.

I just noticed two things about that picture:

1) Somebody stole a bus stop sign.

2) Somebody in the shop is obviously not wearing any pants.

Somebody stole a handicap parking sign too. That's got to be wrong in any country.

I've stolen a LOT of signs over the years, and what's wrong with working on your car pantless?!
