Fired her up today for the first time since 2005.

My 1967 Plymouth Satellite Sport.

The engine runs amazing, it's a 383 from a '68 Roadrunner. The 318 the car came with was rusted solid. The car sat in a field through most of the 1980's until rescued by my old neighbor.

The chassis is...in progress. Hopefully I'll have the time here soon to install the replacement floor pans and strip the car bare and start putting it back together. It isn't nearly the project the Firebird ever was, this car is so--simple.

Nice car, nice engine. Sport was the two door yeah?

Being a Mopar I gotta ask: how's the rust?

Engine color was an interesting choice.

Looks like power steering and manual brakes? If so that's the right choice. Laughing

The rust isn't as bad as I feared but it is going to require rebulding the frame around the torsion bar mounts. The floor pans were pretty much toast so I have all new ones for it. I'm also planning on connecting the subframes.

I always liked yellow and blue, but who knows what it'll end up being. I bought the car when I was 16 and recammed the engine sometime after, repainted it since it was flaked and rusty. I'm going to be pulling it anyways to work on the chassis anyways. I still do have all of the trim and emblems and the fender mounted turn signals. I removed them while looking for rust. Haven't done much with it recently but that should change since I have a new air compressor to use.

Power steering, manual brakes 4 wheel drum, bucket seats and console shift. Pretty bare inside but very roomy. The seats are in great condition but they haven't been sat on for decades so i'm sure they'd tear if I ever drove it.
