Has this happened yet or been considered? Just wondering. _________________

| I worry that it will detract from postings on the site. |

I agree as well.
Facebook would create no added value above what we have here in my opinion. _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

That way we can sit around and be bitter old-school nerds and complain about how the "Damn kids ruined the internet!"
But I totally agree with you, Jon. |

Too late. Well, sort of. I guess Rich's page doesn't count? _________________ '86 Trans Am - 5.0L TPI - LT1 cam - 700R4 - WS6

RS John, the FB page I created has nothing to do with the crew page and if you looked at it close you'll see that, I have friends all over the US most of whom are serious car enthusiast’s, and I created the page as an easy place for all of my distant friends to post up car show pics and yack amongst friends, also it's not just local, the members are US and international, and it's not about just 3rd gens, all years and generations are OK, granted it's TA's, Camaro's and old school Firebirds but that's about as close as it comes. I'm not interested in trying to create a Crew FB page, it just so happens that some of my friends are there, and I'm truly glad that there are other car outlets to visit, If they feel a conflict of interest they can leave, no problem. I'm dedicated to this local club and always will be, I would never do anything to create a conflict with this club. _________________

I don't think there is any conflict Rich.
I could probably create a fan page for the Crew, but I want to keep the discussion and traffic here so the forums keep having action. I worry that stuff that gets posted on the wall on FB, would not get posted here and people might miss out on seeing things. |

| I wasn't suggesting that your page was detracting from, or was in conflict with the Crew site Rich. At first I thought it was a CC FB page since there were so many Crewbies on it. No disrespect intended. |

This was more along the lines of what I was thinking, then other locals could maybe see it and click on a link to Cascade Crew. _________________

Thats easy enough. I'll keep an eye on things, and if it looks like the wall is being used instead of the website, I might lock it down or take it down. But, you can now like CascadeCrew on FB.

No worries, it just hit me wrong John. I put the page together along time ago, yes there are some over lapping folks but nothing serious. That's cool Dewey! I dig this site & all you guys I get to see!
Cheers! _________________

I don't think there will be a problem with that page, it just makes it a little easier to reach new members. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S
