That should be an Autumn/Winter project in the heated garage. _________________

There are others going between 32 and 95 dollars on ebay and that's plus shipping. Of course I'll have to clean this one up and repaint it before install, but I'm cool with that. _________________

I'll trade straight across for a UMI piece I have on my V6. My V6 doesn't need one the size of the UMI bar. _________________ 92 Camaro

Crazy prices if the factory weenie IROC one goes for $95 on eBay.
A brand new TDS (what I have) is only $55! _________________ 84 Camaro Z28 - LS1/T56

I guess I should be specific...the aftermarkets like Spohn were going for $95 and the stockers were in the $35-$50 plus shipping. _________________

We could look into that. _________________

I acquired this one from Brandon (redlava) here in Bremerton for the GM piece I picked up at COWS a couple of years back. I guess the aftermarket bar wouldn't clear his new dual fan support bracket. |

I just have a single fan...shouldn't be an issue. _________________

Speaking of wonder bar....
I installed the dual fan setup and my Global West bar is contacting the fan mounts. Is this common problem? What aftermarket bar fits? |

Yes.

I believe the TDS bar will work. And the stocker, obviously. |

So let me get this straight. There are a bunch of companies that make a steering brace but only one fits the car. Really???
That's retarded. |

Thanks for the links.
Global West touches my fan mounts. It doesn't press hard but does touch. That's a no-go because the fans will lose a shoving contest.
I guess I'll pull the bar off and see if notching the holes is an option. I have a friend with a mill. Although, $55 for a TDS is cheap and easy to make the problem go away because I can sell my Global West piece. |

Bar doesn't move enough to shove the fans. What is the worry here? |
