So I found my cars limit on a particular road I drive daily. So I am in the need for more cornering grip.

I have some basic goodyears on the front that were a gift and wrong size. Being the front takes most the force, I am going to upgrade. I have Falken ze502 on the rear that I cant seem to crack loose. But I am seeing the ze512 also, and its rated "higher". Anyone had both of these and can tell me if they are better? Also intend to put these on a set of rims I plan to get from a board member soon.

Next is shocks. The kyb gr2 I have are atleast 5 years old as they were on my hardtop. Plan to finally get some konis. Is tirerack a reasonable price at 272 ea for the front?

GoodYear Eagle F1 GS-D3.
I heard good things, but couldn't stomach the 290 per tire for my fitment. Might be a bit cheaper for smaller size tires.

Also, incidentally, I had ze502s before and they were one of the lamest tires I've ever owned. Good on you if they're doing fine for you however. Very Happy

I'm buying a set of Koni Yellow fronts soon, and TireRack seemed reasonable to me for pricing. Cheapest I've seen is $260 each and that was on some sketchy websites. Laughing I'll be purchasing from TireRack myself.

Buying the Koni's from tire rack now?

Too bad shipping tires is spendy. I've got an almost brand new set of the goodyears...

I remember someone on here not liking the 502's. Guess that was you Smile And yes, I'm not ready to spend 300bux a tire.

I see summit has them for same price as tirerack. I also need to order some sway bushings, so I will likely get thru them.

Twilight, I'm sure someone in the area would like the tires.
