I just upgraded my shocks as you may have seen in other post. I put Konis on the front, and KYB-AGX on the rear so I dont have to dismount to adjust. I know alot of you have said "once its set I dont mess with it". Well, Who knows what I will do.

Anyway, I contacted kyb about what is what on the settings for the 8 positions. This is what they sent me....

#1 95%, 5% softer then stock
#2 100% aka stock
#3 107.5, 7.5 firmer then stock
#4 115, 15% firmer then stock, and this is what the gr2 is set at
#5 143.5
#6 172
#7 197.5
#8 223

Does anyone know what %'s koni goes down and up to? I know at max low setting on the front bounces alot and is all over the road. At max high it rides like some boards have been placed in the front and skips and chirps across the crappy ass roads we have here.

are those numbers in compression, rebound, or both?!?

The trick is you want compliance over the bumps, but control, so you generally want a good amount rebound, especially with higher rate springs, and very little compression, just enough to control it.

You can use the compression to fine tune things, but generally I found I tend to like the lowest setting I can get away with, with the car planting itself and being controlled right when the spring goes to rebound.

I think it said it was for both.

Id like to up the spring rate, esp on the rear. But I think I will have to go with weight jacks so that I can get the ride height as well. So tell then, I'll have to stick with the springs I have and adjust the shocks to what I like with these springs.

I had a set of shocks that were weak in compression and stiff on rebound.. all it did was suck my car to the ground and make me bottom out everywhere. Had to take them back for a more balanced set.

I just re-read what they sent. It does infact say it is for both.
