So after seeing how good the center bolt wire looms look on Al's 383 I finally got around to installing mine. I had put it off due to me having to find a creative way to accommodate my aluminum valve covers. I bought some traded rod and cut it to length to create studs and used washes to fill the gap between the recess in the covers and the looms.

While routing the wires I found that the way I had them routed they wouldn't fit in the looms so I pulled them all off to route them. Doing so I discovered that I had burnt 3 of my Taylor plug wires at the plug end even though I have boots on all 8 and the headers are wrapped. After buying an accel set for tbi truck, which fit perfect for me, not only do my wires look much more organized, but hopefully I won't burn them again and I have fixed my mysterious misfire. _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

				Looking pretty good.

Now that I've removed the AIR tubes from my headers, I need to shorten all of my wires by about 6" because of the shorter routing. I may have to go out and get some new wires to do that job, we'll see how these take to re-crimping the ends first though. _________________ 92 Camaro
