I have a steering box that was relatively new when I rebuilt it (thought it was leaking). The box had great response. Now it the box has a 10 degree dead spot after rebuilding it. I tightened down the top nut till snug and just backed off the top allen screw just a hair. I had the car jacked up in the air when checking the slop and setting the screw. I could see the input shaft turning and the output lever not moving, when the screw is tight.
Anyone have any ideas? |

| I was thinking about this last night in bed and realized there is a large screw in the front that you can tighten or loosen. I am going to try this and report back. |
