probably me, I put them in a few weeks ago haven't really driven the car that much, out of all the stuff I've done to my car shocks and struts have been the most noticeable upgrade but then again all I have to compare them to is a replacement set of Monroes.
the KYBs are 1000x better than monroes |

Thanks. Ive got kyb non-adjust now that are about 7 years old. I'm guessing its about time to replace as I can push them with my body weight(and I'm skinny).
How easy are they to adjust while on the car? |

the fronts are easy the knobs right on top of the strut, they even comes with two little flathead screw drivers to adjust them. the rears are kinda of a PIA you have to crawl under the car to adjust them. I've played with the adjustments a little, it doesn't feel like there's a whole lot of difference from the stiffest setting to the softest setting |

oh, so the fronts are like konis? I thought they had a knob on the side of the body.
So the rears you just crawl under and turn a knob right? |

I've got close to ten years on my std kyb. And they're fine. More about mileage vs terrain. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Which is why you should never offroad your thirdgen with performance struts/shocks. _________________

twilight. While your correct, I will say my x drove the first car they were on for a year and she lived on some shitty roads. Then I have had them 5-6 on this car. While it doesnt get drove alot, I push it to its limits.
But none the less, if I can push it in with little effort, IMO they are bad.
RK82, thanks for the pics. Gives me a good idea what I'm dealing with. Does look like the rears are hard to get to. But still easier then konis that you have to dismount to adjust. |
