i didnt realize there was two part numbers... there is the 009 which says "Fits cars that use original equipment style exhaust that runs on the passenger side, outboard the subframe."
and there is the 008 (which i bought) "Fits cars with full length headers and exhaust systems that run inside the frame rails only."
did i get the wrong ones? my exhaust follows the stock route but i have shorty headers... _________________

Sounds like you answered your own question. Yes, it seems you've ordered the wrong ones. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I just did the same thing with brake pads for my new rear, hopefully they get here soon so I can turn them around and get the right ones. _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

Which part number did you buy?
Shorty headers wont change your SFCs. Should be ones for the stock style exhaust. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |
