pull the a pillars, the sail panels, the seatbelt covers etc, anyhting touching it pretty much, then (if you think your headliner can hold up to it) pull it down, not sure on hard tops but i know t tops use pop its that hold it up

hope that helps

Pull the A-Pillar covers towards the center of the car, there are 2 white clips holding it on. Be gentle, they like to break.

T-tops
There are two little metal clips at the front of the windshield one on each side of the rear view mirror.

Do you have the overhead console? Remove the dome light cover and the 1 screw in there. The whole unit then slides to the back (I think, might be front lol) unclip the wire to the unit and its out.
Remove the rear trim piece (4 screws i think), remove the garment hooks, and sail panels. The QP plastics can stay in. Remove the trim around the seatbelt carefully as well, the little clips like to break. Then Take the seat belts out of the headliner before you try to pull it down, I found it way easier if your by yourself.

Also you can use the rear view mirror to hold up the front part of the headliner till you can get the back down.

The it slides out the hatch.

Think thats it, I just pulled my headliner yesterday Smile
