ok, being straight forward here..I have an 85 camaro, it's been sitting for about 5 years (started maybe a handful of times so that we could mow).

It has original everything, very LOW miles, under 40k..yes that is correct. It was parked due to lack of money and it had some interior electrical issues, wipers stopped working, stereo stopped working (it has one of the first gen computer systems on board and they were expensive to work on) so it was parked!

The engine is a 305 small block v8 (we think?, maybe a 285??). The automatic tranny was in perfect condition when parked. The interior is sunbleached a bit, but there are absolutely no rips or tears in the fabic seats, door panels or carpet. The headliner has pulled away. There is no mold. It was burgandy in color, interior is black, sunbleached to a grey/blue in areas.

Now the outside of the car is rusted, but NOT rusted through. It was painted very well in 1985 and was kept up until just 5/6 years ago.(never garaged)

Please, I've always had a dream for this car, but I/we just can't pull it off and we just don't want one of these fly by night haul off companies to take it. It deserves better.

In parts alone,we would like to think it's worth about $500, that's thinking the engine isn't working any longer...but all else is salvage, especially the interior.

Please email for pictures, or make an appt to come by and take a look. We need it gone soon as we are moving south and can't take it with.

Thanks in advance..

I am picking up the car early next week.

46,000 miles, started right up and purred like a kitten. Very Happy

I'm driving this sucker home. Very Happy If it breaks down, I'll call ya, OK? Laughing

You can have the decklid if you want to hook me up with a spoiler and a spoiler-ready decklid. If not, it's pretty easy to fill the spoiler holes on yours. Dad did a great job on my bro's T/A spoiler holes.

Why do you ask? Plans are flexible... Razz

I'll post up some better pictures when I go pick it up. I'm itching to get this thing home actually.

Did someone go and get this car? I hope someone does. it would be a shame to let it get crushed being a solid complete car... for free!
