Does anyone have rear disk brake caliper brackets for a 10 bolt rear end? _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

If you mean backing plates, I have a pair for the PBR aluminum calipers that were stock on the '89 & up cars. _________________ 92 Camaro

That sounds right. If I understand correctly I can take off my rear drums, and associated hardware and install those in their place with the correct hardlines, master cylinder, proportioning valve and e-brake cables. If you're willing to part with them I'll buy them from you. _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

You'll still need to modify the flanges on the ends of your axle housing. Very similar to the tech article on TGO for LS1 conversion. I'll have to find a link for you, the only difference is the backing plate style, but the bolt hole pattern is the same.
Here you go..
Nevermind the big backing plate with the parking brake shoe, if you clamp these to the flange the same way, you'll end up with an identical flange at the end of your housing.

Are you going PBR or Standard?
I have a full rear disc setup for a 10bolt with rotors/calipers/pads/plates etc. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

What would you guys recommend? I haven't been able to find much about the rear disks on these, I didn't know there was more than one type either...
I had just been planning on upgrading when I did my next brake job which is due soon. _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

| The park brake on the pre-89 cast iron caliper pretty much sucks. I can't comment on the 89+ system, I skipped over the PBR aluminum calipers and installed the 98-02 LS1 with the integral parking brake drum, they work wonderful, but I don't think they'll fit under a 15" wheel. |

I do have 15 inch stamped rims right now but I do have a set of 16x8 GTA wheels that I plan on putting tires on and onto the car. So the 89+ style would install similar to that tech article shows? _________________ 2010 Cobalt LT

I would think it should be very similar to the tech article. Only difference would be the backing plates, instead of the ones with the brake shoe, these have only the place to mount the caliper, bolt pattern is the same. Unfortunately, I forget which side is which but here's what they look like.
