If its dirty you'll never find it. I would wash it off and look after a few miles. Is it leaky dirty by the front or in the back?

sounds like the front lip seal for sealing the torque converter.. have you ever had TQ removed from tranny and NOT replaced front lip seal?? if so thats probably the issue . or less likely is the pump gasket/oring-
either case requires u to remove tranny.

If it's the front, its the tc seal.

Most likely, but he needs to pull the tc inspection cover off and stick a torch up in there to be sure.

I had an leaking AOD4 one time that looked like a front seal. Turned out to be a warped pan lip.

There is also a front seal around where the bolts on the front of the trans goes. I had to go to a tans shop to get it looks like a rope seal. Big circle.

Did it to my 92 bird car. replaced the torque coverter seal twice then found out what it was leaking from.
