so today i left for school drove about 4 miles (almost off fox island) i made a left turn and the car started vibrating badly and i saw smoke come from my front passenger side tire....i was like ohhhh shiiiiii&*........... i pull over and was like are you kidding me Shocked

my mom had put some fabric under my car to catch any drips (my car doesnt leak anymore) and when i backed out of my garage it got caught up in the wheel and got wrapped around my brake caliper and rotor.

had to call my mom have her bring the tire iron, jack and jackstands, had to jack it up on the side of the road take the rim off and pulled all the fabric off the brake assembly... and as im jacking up my car a semi truck doesnt see me on the side of the road and decides to see how close he can get to me, last second he moved out of the way and there was someone tailgating him so he had to swerve too (i was pretty far off the road too...)im glad the fabric didnt catch fire and everything is okay

here is a pic, after i tried cutting it to get it out before i took the rim off

On another board someone posted something similar. This guy didnt have the flywheel cover installed on his transmission. He got done polishing up the car.. started it to put it in the garage.. ran over the top of one of his rags.. and the flywheel sucked the rag in. Stopped the motor cold. I bet that was fun to unwind too.

I guess we all need to pay attention to our rags now..

Anyone remember that picture of the jeep that ran over a mattress? Laughing
