Just realized I never showed off my new wheels! TransAm speedlines plasti-diped black with falken 275/40/17 rubber
Been rocking them for about a month and liking them. Opinions?

Just want to pop back in and say that if my Camaro ever gets wrecked I would have a hard time saying no to building a nice, clean Formula! Love the no GFX look.

Also Transformers is dumb. Razz

I thought the toys were cool when I was a kid, but never liked the cartoon or the movies. Worst movie writing and acting ever! (just my honest opinion Smile )

Yup yup Before I embarked on this current mad sports coupe venture I was very seriously considering basing this build on a Formula.

Too dark. I think I'd like a silver lip or something.

Not a fan of the transformers button. Maybe on the Yellow/Blk 5th gen Camaro.

Jeep people practically plastidip the whole vehicle.

Car looks good, but I'm getting burnt out on the dark wheel thing. I caught the beginning of that wave when I first did mine. I noticed while sitting in les schwaab the other day that almost every wheel they sold is black.

I ran the wheels a few weeks before dipping them, I think they were too fancy looking and there's nothing else polished or chrome on the car so I decided to dip them. Cool thing is it will peel off if you spend hours picking at it. But I ended up liking the wheels a lot better black. And now people get out of the cross-walk in a hurry when I pull up. They think I'm gonna mow there kids down or something....
Formulas are definetly my favorite firebird, no offense to the T/A guys I just think they look beefier without ground effects

I agree. I might have gone with a flat grey, or argent plastidip as well.

I like the steering wheel, but I'd have opted for the pontiac "arrow", like your centercaps have for the horn-button.

Argent plastidip?
So far everyone hates my little $10 horn button. Lol it makes a little "haha" moment when someone new gets in the car, then they take it seriously after I slam a few gears. Lol
