I planning to go, bring the GTA for the dyno. So long as the weather is good and finances hold up.

Well, we've kind of moved it back to March so we have better chances now. Very Happy

My roommate traded his lifted ranger for a 5.0 mustang so I'm pretty sure he'll be following me down. Smile

Well... he traded it to a guy in Shelton who I thought was in GH/Tacoma a lot so you might see it down there. Laughing

But yeah, needed way too much money just to correct all the geometry snafus and make it an okay driver.

HA! That truck fits in perfectly out in Shelton. Plus, nobody down there has even heard of geometry of any kind. Too many cousins for any of that mathematical nonsense. Squint

Laughing True. I didn't think about that. I think Sowers even told the guy that the 33" tires are from 1977 and the 4 spare 35" tires are from ~1984.

I'll definitely be attending. Whether it's it my Camaro or not is another question. Progress has been very slow lately due to the fact that I've had a new project car for the last few months. Either way I'll be putting a car on the dyno.

You bringing a dub? Very Happy

...maybe. I'd feel very out of place with the GTI, but on the other hand I really want to know how much that VR is putting down.

You have seen all the different rigs that have dynoed with us man. No problem. Like any other project car, thirdgen or otherwise, it is good to have a baseline.

I'm with stupid

Your little veedub isn't going to be any more out of place than Kyle's turbo Neon, or my big block Mercury. Hell, my original plan was to dyno a 4x4 diesel Ford this year. Laughing

Obviously if I am in Portland by next month, I will be there. And, if I am there, the Caddy will be going on the rollers. The stock rating is 375hp and 525ft lbs for the 472, and it's got a cam and cleaned up heads.

Maybe even get my sister to roll up! Smile

I was offering a ride to the northern folks that don't want to bring a car down. Hense the "I have an open seat."
