|
|
I have some ideas for LED mods for the spoiler brake light. I don't want to use the one in my car to tear apart and mount LEDs in it. I had one that I removed the reflector from (no easy task) and wasn't in great shape to begin with. I thought I'd try to install 2 or 3 1-foot LED strips into the lens and forget about the reflector. _________________ 92 Camaro

| Al, is this for the '89, or the '92? I have one at my Dad's shop that will fit the '89. |

| Since it's for the spoiler, it's for the '89. Sorry, forgot to mention. I'll probably need more than one. I'll be checking local yards too. |

What parts do you need? I have one, but the lense peice is cracked in about 3 places. If you need the reflector and stuff for parts, you are welcome to it.

| I'm probably going to destroy the reflector and mount a couple of 1-foot LED strips to the inside of the lens. Figuring out how much of the reflector I need for structural integrity is why I want more than one, the lens by itself is rather flimsy. |
