Will an older steering column work for my 91?
Like an 87?

FYI I took out the airbag.

Harness connectors are the only real issue. Lots of stuff will work, though; I had the column from an '88 IROC on my ;'83 S10, and that worked fine. Wink

Alright, cause I've got a steering column from an 87 (Thanks Luke! haha) and idk if it will work in my car. If it does I'll have the electrician hook it up while he has it.

I doubt you will be able to use the airbag wheel, I don't think any of the pre-90 stuff will have the clock spring and connections for the airbag.

Only thing I can think of that will be different is the VATS wires for the resistor key.

Gotta give him credit, Jon. He's figured out the trick to getting a Chevy working correctly: Just delete crap till there's nothing left to break. Wink
