This thing is amazing, not for the power that it puts out but that some one would spend the dough to build it.

The project I am working on now has a CAT V16 with 8 turbo chargers that puts out 3000 + HP without the chrome and 8 less cylinders. That thing makes the ground shake and sucks pushes 85000.00 CFM when it is running. No chrome, just yelow paint and a 30" diameter muffler.

The CAT engine is bad azz. It is about 16' long, 6' wide and 10' tall, the radiator is 9' x 9'. The mechanical engineers missed the boat on the exhaust plenum for the radiator, long story short the pusher cooling fan moves 85,000 CFM over the radiator when she warms up Shocked

Each cylinder is removable, it has 16 cylinders, 8 turbo chargers and makes 3000 horspower at something like 850 rpm. That puts the torque number around 18,500. The exhaust pipe is 30" in diameter and made of stainless steel, except the 8' long " tip" that sticks out of the building. It's the anti ricer aproach from Amazon Very Happy

The engine and fuel tank are located on the P2 ( parking level #2), the engine sticks above ( P1 parking level #1 ) the floor above it. Due to the location of the fuel tank and the obvious logistical issues with refilling the tank, there is a fuel fill pipe in the alley with a locking cap. The verticle distance between the tank and the fuel fill door is about 20'.

I will try to get some pictures of it next week.

If that doesn't do the job, CAT makes a 21,760 HP engine. Wink
