Just got back last week from Idaho and brought my new hot rod home lol

2006 GMC Sierra 3500 duramax 6 speed ally

Fairly stock but with some tasteful additions

Guy took exceptionally good care of it

I have already begun tinkering with things to make things more "interesting"
Very Happy

Should keep the wife and kid safe while they go to the store haha

as well as tow the race car nicely!

Seems to be the trend of people going Diesel lately for their work/kickin-around rigs.

have fun with it Zach. This just meant to be a driver, or do you have plans for it?

Well just planning on having a DD for the wife and giving it some punch!

So far the mods are
Pinnacle power 4 inch exhaust (cat back only, front pipe and down pipe are to be installed VERY soon)
PPE airbox mod
Edge evolution
Transgo Jr shift kit
and Brembo front rotors

I plan on doing several more things to get it up to where I want it. I think I may switch over to PPE programming and just use the edge for gauges...... So that way I can do the complete EGR delete tube

Already preparing for the day if I ever need to pull the heads and install the ARP studs! Hoping to get by for a long time without though!

With the wife babying it I think that will help!

nothing to wild but more then the average throw a chip and exhaust on.

Dad has a Kodiak with the munroe package and the thing is BAD@ss He is upgrading to 22.50" alcoa's and will be taking off his 19.50's I am thinking about getting a set of adapters made to put on the alcoas!

Think twice before you use the Edge Evolution. If you check out the forums there are a LOT of complaints about glitches and flat out failures. I had one on my LB7 and it had issues. The Edge tunes suck, too. Many people report loss of fuel economy (including me).

PPE tunes make a lot more power. You can also use LS edit and do whatever you want. I have a co-worker with a 2004 Duramax that makes 520 RWHP on the stock turbo using custom tuning with LS edit.

The evolution was on it when I bought it apparently the owner just put it on. Although it appears to work very well right now Now the juice with attitude is a different story.... lot of failures with that box. I really am thinking the ppe is going to be the way to go and just use the evolution for the gauges. as money allows I will do this. I also like the EGR delete option with the ppe since I plan on maybe doing a complete egr delete pipe.

Oh, you're right. I got confused. I had a Juice with Attitude. It might have been a better product if it didn't have so much attitude. Laughing
