I've been lurking around here for awhile, don't think I ever made a thread about my car. its a 82 Trans Am 305 with the original T-10 4-speed trans and mechanical clutch linkage.

First day I bought it, after a coat of wax

non-spoiler hatch from a 82 camaro

the factory hood cracked right down the middle just after the hinges, looked like big steel taco shell, picked up one from a wrecker that doesn't fit right and has dents all over it.

Over the winter I plan on rebuilding the front end it only needs balljoints but I'll replace everything while I am in there.
I picked up a new rear sway bar to replace that original piece of wire.
compared to the stock one

I havent updated this in a while, found some early 82 lower control arms, del-a-lums are in, and my Global west sub-frame connectors and traclink came in.

since global west dosent make a traclink for a 82 with a ST-10, I had to make a quick bracket to mount the front of the brace to the crossmember

this is just a temporary one, I plan on making a better one when I have more time.

and I painted my hood semi-gloss black

I'm with stupid

Very interested in your opinion of the arm, especially under braking. I'm thinking the same setup might find it's way under my Z project.

BTW, not to be picking fly crap out of the pepper here, but am I seeing ungraded or grade-5 hardware and standard nuts on that bracket to the crossmember? I'd be looking at some grade-8 (or 10.9) hardware and some top-locks or nylockers. Just my two cents.

I can't compare it to a stock arm cause I've never driven it with one, I put a non-adjustable edelbrock one in as soon as I bought the car but it feels like it hits the tires alot harder with this arm, its hard to tell cause I did shocks, struts, rear sway bar, control arm bushing/balljoints, sub-frame connectors, and the torque arm all the same weekend.

I never noticed that before, those bolts and nuts came in the kit with the arm I think they were for a exhaust hanger or something. I'll have to put grade 8 ones in there.
