You might also remember the C6 tranny in it, which was a little bit confused. First, at dyno, it fancied itself a PowerGlide:

Then the radiator blew up, and it thought it was a salad dressing bottle:

Fortunately, your friendly local mountain man always keeps a bunch of crap piled up in the back of the shop, namely another C6. Swapped the output shaft, tailhousing, and a few other parts over, and put the new tranny in the car.

If you were at dyno, you probably also remember this:

...which was caused by this here business:

But don't worry, we totally took care of that too:

Took it around today and it runs like a champ. New trans shifts a little softer than the old one, but still alright. Pulls a lot harder on the top end with the jets in back. Exhaust still bottoms out though (morons with their 4.5" wide gasser wheels on the front Rolling Eyes).

You're missing some tools...

Glad the boat is on the road. It's a hell of an awesome cruiser. Very Happy You have a shop/garage now?

Probably. Shrug I can never find any of my goddamned tools. I just keep buying more.

Yeah, I have at the last two places. Those pics were taken at the old shop right as I was moving out (thus the lack of tools, and general mess). This new shop is by far the better setup, though. Got several 220V circuits, plumbed for air, and lots of room to work.

B&W, clouds and then the geometry of the power lines with no poles... I just like it.
