Wow, except for the two well established annual events, most of us would balk at a 6 hour drive. I'm sure Ian won't mind since events are for meeting new members and catching up with the rest.
I've been to Penticton once many years ago, just to drive through on a cross-country trip while in the Navy. Depending on the route you choose, it should be a pretty drive.
Let me be the first to say "Welcome to the Crew!" _________________ 92 Camaro

I dunno, Al. I would think that driving 300 miles just to meet us this bunch is probably going to be pretty disappointing.
Also, hi, welcome, Oh Canada, and whatnot. |

Her other post says she lives in Okanogen. Which isn't that far. I drove over to that area saturday for a paintball game myself. _________________ A redline a day keeps the carbon away! |

Ian, the crew is more the welcome at my home on Saturday the 9th for a BBQ or my wifes awesome enchiladas. Hell, I'll even pick up some Skittles
I have the room in the house, a couple of large LCD TV's, one wii, room in the garage and lots of parking on the street. If there is a crew " project" I can set up a day at the shop in Maltby, i.e., car lift, air compressor, sand blasting booth, welder and stocked 6' tall rollaway. |

The Clearview gathering will be hit or miss at that time of the year. My brother can probably get some of the LSX and LS1GTO guys to show up, would make an interesting group of GM iron.
Some ideas that come to mind, project at the shop in clearview, head over to Clearview, then either back to my house for dinner and drinks then head over to my sisters place ( 5+ acres 1/2 mile from clearview / 2 miles from my house) and drinks some more with a bigass bon fire. She has a 80' x 150' well lit, covered riding arena with 10 stalls, tack room, hay staorage area, washer dryer, stereo, fridge etc. I have my travel trailer stored there ( sleeps 6) and she has lots of room down stairs for people to crash.
If you would like some help planning give me a call or stop by this weekend.
BTW, theres a Hooters in Lynnwood on 164th.....they have fantastic wings |

Other than next weekend (oct 8th/9th/10th) nothing is really concreted more than at least meeting at my place in Bothell. I'm going to get together with IROCDave and hammer out the specifics friday so everyone will know what's up. I'll probably start a thread tomorrow to get a more accurate headcount because I suck at tabulating people.
The next thread will have my phone/address/contact info. |
