Looks like it might be shaping up nicely to be going to the NHRA meet on the 17-19 @ Bremerton Raceway...... Still gotta get everything prepped but it should work out just in time. Probably going to be the last runs of the season for Z before taking a rest in the garage lol

Maybe others will show and make make some runs or hang out.

so my plans as of now, is do test and tune friday night and then CCC and Test and tune on saturday, btw saturday is last day of CCC so there is a barbeque for participants Cool

yeah dude you should come out for test and tune, its alway fun to meet new camaro dudes, especially when we can all go race

ill be there at about 3 or 4 on friday and i gonna stay the night to race on saturday as well

now just to clear things up... T&T is open to everyone as an open 1/4 mile right? Unfortunately i cant do much tuning since im still running a stock 305 TBI, the only thing ive got done to it really is the headers/ exhaust, but it might be fun to finally get my 1/4 time lol

and i was reading on the bremerton raceway site, any car running under a 13.99 has to run a driveshaft loop??? Really? i doubt im gonna hit anywhere near that since im running a tired motor but say somebody does hit lower, are there any penalties?

And t-top cars need to wear a helmet??

yeah its open to everyone on a 1/4 mile track, dont need to worry about tuning, just go to have fun, hang out with people, see what your car runs and run against other cars, i just go for the fun of it, but car club challenge on sat is an actual competition

if you have t-tops you DO need a helmet, must be SNELL certified, they do check sometimes

and stock 305 you wont be under 13.99 but when you tech in just say your gonna be runnin 16's and they wont give you any crap

I'm not expecting any extraordinary numbers lol once the l98/posi goes in tho ill be needing that saftey loop, I was lookin at scorpion helmets, there a cheaper alternative than bells racing helmets and they're snell approved I don't think ill be running this time, money is kinda tight and I'm sure my wife would lynch me if I blew 140 on a helmet lol I'm still gonna swing thru though, how often do they do the t&t?

Test and Tune is normaly on fridays, dude go on ebay thats where i got my helmet $60 plus 15 for shipping. i think its like 30 for the day for racing
