http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEBKywGDGY0

I have took a video of the valve covers, and it seems like the one on the right of the engine has massive burnt oil/durt around the gaskets.. Should this one look like it needs to be replaced?

You can see all the goo at 0:35..

thanks, if so cheap ?

Looks pretty normal to me (i.e. like my V6). The oil is on top of the lower flange or whatever you want to call that part of the valve cover so it probably isn't leaking from there or it would be under that part (flange) and coating your exhaust manifolds. Looks like someone spilled oil while filling it or it came out of the breather hole where the PCV valve is and ran down the side of the valve cover.

WTF is "sandstorm"? Squint

The oil on top of the cover clamps is not what you need to worry about, it's the oil that's running down onto the heads and exhaust manifolds that's going to smoke.

That could be cause of leaking covers tho?

If the valve covers are leaking it is because of a failure of the valve cover gaskets. Removing the valve covers on a 60* V6 is no fun at all. I had to remove the upper and middle intake manifolds to get mine off, but I have heard of people getting them off without removing these pieces. Good luck. Sad

looks like more oil on the back drivers?

The design on the v6 in this area REALLY sucks. If their is no silicone put where the base intake/head meet, it will leak. I'm thinking that is the area you are leaking at. Also there is no "valley" for the oil to sit in in the head. Oil sits against the gasket and v/c. Still kinda hard to see in that video. But as someone else mentioned, it could be the OPSU. Is that gob of oil higher then the opsu, or down around it?

Yes the vc's can be taken off w/o removing the intake, but it is PITA!!! Its usually easier to just remove the intake.
