Whats the rule at the strip for locking seat backs? I know they always seem to check them. My stock 74 seats are no problem, they lock all the time until you pull the release. But I have a set of newer 2nd gen seats I want to use. These have inertia locks. They just flop around til you brake. The inertia locks seem to work. If i tip the seat forward here on the floor the back will lock. But just sitting like they would be installed.. floppy.
Do I need to try and move my locking hinges to these newer seats? |

There isn't anything in the NHRA rulebook specifically stating anything about folding seats. We basically check to make sure the seat is safely secured to the rail/floor and that there's nothing broken about it. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S
