Anyone else collect any over the years?
I was just digging thru some boxes and found hot wheels i've had since i was 3 that my grandpa had been saving, and stuff i've bought over the year's from various places, some date back to the 70's.
also found some "24k Gold" Racing Champions race car's that were bought somewhere between 97 to 99, cant seem to find crap on if it's worth anything more than it was bought for. and also a couple "Hot Rod" editions of the Racing Champion's
Anyone know of any sites that show close value's (other then hunting stuff down on ebay and stuff like that) |

They're almost always not worth diddly unless they're on a sealed card, and the card is in perfect shape.
Problem is, as a kid I tended to not own things that were in one piece for very long, much less in the box. Seems to have afflicted me as a grown up as well. |

Luckly they held me off them till i was around 10, by then i knew what it met to collect and take care of what you had (haha pokemon)
at that point i was looking on ebay and finding local places that sold older car's, 98% of my car's (both hot wheels and racing champion's are all in perfect boxes)
thanks for the Site, already started looking at a couple car's, so far 4 car's added close to $35, dunno if i'll ever part with them, but it's kinda fun to see which one's with what paint and rim's are worth more. |

I kept one Hot Wheels car from my childhood; the Torino Stocker '79. This was my favorite Hot Wheels car of all time! Most of the decals are long gone, but this is what it looked like new.

You know what a grown up is: a kid with a beard and a drivers licence. |

I have a whole bunch of Hot Wheels from the '70's. Every last one is used and beaten. But I'm also the kid that broke three big wheels, too.
I also have 2 different Hot Wheels cities that fold up into carrying cases. |

| I have a couple of the original first year Hot Wheels. I got those and a WWII US Remington 03A3 from my grandma's boyfriend. The rifle is the only thing in good condition. |

My dad collects Hot Wheels. He probably has a few thousand still sealed in the box. They're all kept in a bunch of big tupper ware boxes. He even goes out of his way to get every single car of a particular edition, series, etc. _________________ Richmond 3.73 posi| 36/24 sway bars | SLP LM2 | Koni's | Ground Control 800/200 | Y2K wheels | Dyno Don headers & Y-pipe | airfoil | BBK underdrive pulleys | Raised strut mounts | Extended ball joints | LCARB'S

I collected Hot Wheels for about a year in the late 90s, ended up donating most of them to little kids when I went to Peru in 2000 and the rest to my son. I still have the Camaros (and Mopars) packaged. _________________

I have most of the 80's Firebirds casted.
The French casting is the most rare.
I played with HW's in '68 when they first came out. :p
