|
|
Hopefully I don't get condemned for suggesting this. I saw a picture of a export 4thgen camaro with the rear brake fog lights mounted in the bumper. I kinda like it. What about on a thirdgen bird like mine?
Are brake fog lights specially designed to reflect in a special pattern or is it just like any other brake light out there?
Yes I see no actual need for this seeing as it's rarely that foggy around here but deep down I think I love lights and gadgets just as much as Al does. _________________

Not for braking. Basically just more rear lighting.

Aaron beat me to that link as I was ready to post. I've seen a Mini Cooper around with one of those lights on the rear, below the bumper, they are quite bright. _________________ 92 Camaro

You could make them large reverse lights like on a C6 Vette.

Right, I know they're not meant for brake lights specifically but I've seen quite a few cars with them integrated into factory tail light housings as an option. Just wanted to know if it was like the designation between "driving lights" and "foglights" for the rear. |

I wonder if that was just a "europe" only thing. The licence plate cutout in the rear bumper is wider than the one on my 4th gen. _________________

Correct. These are cars that are prepped for export.
Also, note the back-asswards taillight lenses on the red 4th-gen. |

I think there's a euro law stating amber had to be on the outer corner of the vehicle in the rear? |

All cars in Europe have to have break-away mirrors also |
