Houston, more specifically. Anybody ever been there? Know any good places to eat? We're already planning on going to NASA and other touristy stuff. I'm also planning on visiting MTI (Motorsports Technology Inc.) and seeing some 9 second, street legal Vettes and F-Bodies. For those of you who don't know who MTI is, they build some of the most badass LS1 cars on earth! I'll be buying a t-shirt. Wish me luck! _________________ '85 T/A: 305 LG4, 700R4, Edelbrock TES headers, Hooker catback, K&N filter

Weird; My dad's flying down there on monday to pick up a tahoe (they just bought a new wakeboarding boat, and need something better than a 74 flatbed; jeep GC; or 2wd 305 76 chevy to tow it).
I might be going down there with him just because I like roadtrips. _________________

yap I'm in houston
as far as good places to eat:
America's, Cafe Annie, and Artista
They're all on the expensive side, but it's an experience you really can't find too many other places (even pretty hard to find it in Seattle to be completely honest)
for less expensive, it's a hard choice...
Pappasito's is a damned good mexican food place, Pappadeaux is a decent cajun/creole place, Ninfa's is a houston original mexican place. Then theres the typical crap everyone has in every state as far as chain restaurants go...
MoMong is a good thai/indian place, PF Chang's is a good asian food place...
yadda yadda... _________________
