Most of those funky upwards exhaust setups actually have a drain hole right before it turns upwards. Smile

I don't get it, why would you do that?

The only thing close to that I have seen done for function, is on some Porsche's and stuff at the race track. They will aim the tail-pipe away from wherever they are measuring the sound levels from, to help make sure they stay under the noise limit.

Other than that, I don't get it all.
