I whent to put the t-tops back on my car opened the hatch everything worked fine..... until i whent to close it. When i set it down it latched fine but it didnt pull down. I looked around for a bad ground or bad wire and checked the fuse and didnt see anything wrong, so i left it sit over night. I whent out this afternoon and it had pulled itself down. My car fixed itself . So where should i start to look to find out what causes this ? I guess i have a project for my electrics class now _________________

Its sounds like a bad switch at the top near the latch assembly.
They start going bad then work intermidately. _________________ kurfbird

I believe it is called a hatch sensing switch. It is part of the wiring assembly.
Try to cycle it up an down. Might get it working again.
Pm me your email and I will send you some pics. it might help _________________ kurfbird
