i tried to get my car threw deq today it failed once again i heard of a new tax for v8 cars in washington state 2011 every time you liscense car its an additional 600 every time you liscense or renew your v8 car in 2011 i heard this from deq has anyone heard of this if this is true we all need to fight this law

I think you're talking about Washington senate bill 6900. But that dates back to 2008, and in that bill a 5.0 to 5.9 liter engine would run $325
6.0 to 7.9 would run $400
And 8.0 and up would run $600.

I don't know what ever happened to that bill but it didn't cost me nearly that much last time I put tabs on my car.

Man i hope that isn't true, and if it is that it's not as much..

maybe i should of put that mustang motor in the chevelle Neutral

Many senators have been written and replied that that bill never went anywhere. It wasn't even a Bill...
