I went to pull a part yesterday and got a fuel pump for the firebird. Pulled the tank today (had to cut exhaust ) and turns out the rubber hose had a hole in it. So, new hose and will try to start the car tomorrow.
I will finally have a V8 third gen to drive!
I only need new front tires. |

Got the pump in...now the starter won't work!!!
Cranks over very slowly with the battery charger on (10amp), but won't crank on the battery alone.
Anyone have a spare starter? _________________

I think I would be looking for a battery, instead of a starter. |

Battery is good. I even tested it with the battery out of my camaro, still cranks slowly. Starter has a burning smell as well. _________________

Battery wire.
Specifically the wire to the starter solenoid. |
