I went to pull a part yesterday and got a fuel pump for the firebird. Pulled the tank today (had to cut exhaust Sad ) and turns out the rubber hose had a hole in it. So, new hose and will try to start the car tomorrow.

I will finally have a V8 third gen to drive!

I only need new front tires.

Got the pump in...now the starter won't work!!! Laughing

Cranks over very slowly with the battery charger on (10amp), but won't crank on the battery alone.

Anyone have a spare starter? Very Happy

I think I would be looking for a battery, instead of a starter. Wink

Battery is good. I even tested it with the battery out of my camaro, still cranks slowly. Starter has a burning smell as well.

Battery wire.

Specifically the wire to the starter solenoid.
