Wow. I always make buyers meet me somewhere I choose and have friends with me when I sell on craigslist.

Glad he's recovering, but it sounds like there were clues as to the shady nature of the prospective buyer. Gotta know when it's time to say no to the BS and run away.

Got to love that second amendment.

I make people come to my house...it's out in the middle of nowhere (deceptively, town is just 7/10 of a mile away), my comfort zone, lots of guard dogs, and loads of guns if we need them.

That and the police department is just a mile down the road.
